The Process to Get Started in Therapy

Basic Info About Counseling Services

Meet In-Person or Virtually/Telehealth
Telehealth sessions are facilitated on HIPAA-compliant platforms. I meet with clients virtually using the telehealth platform connected to my electronic medical record system (Simple Practice), or in a HIPAA-compliant Zoom meeting.

About the Office and Location
For in-person sessions I meet with clients at my office (photos below) in the west loop, located right by the Oglivie Metra stop and the Clinton Green/Pink el line stop. My office is a spacious loft ideal for art-making, and also very comfortable for talk therapy. Clients interested in exploring Art Therapy have access to using a wide variety of art materials, kept fully stocked in the office/studio space.
Masking is currently optional, with this policy subject to change based upon ongoing assessments of public health risks. I am more than happy to wear a mask in session when requested by the client. I also run multiple air purifiers in the office simultaneously whenever clients are present. Thus far, this has been successful in preventing contagious illness (including COVID-19) from spreading among clients and/or myself within the office space.
Due to being located in the west loop area, there is no designated parking area for the office building or discounted parking available for clients. Metered street parking is readily available in addition to discounted parking through the "Spot Hero" parking app. Multiple public transportation routes (CTA and Metra) also have direct routes to the office building.
